Belwood Lake Car Show Peoples Choice Trophy 2016
Chris Povey's 1957 Chevrolet
Chris Povey's 1957 Chevrolet
Ladies and Gentlemen.... There were 100's of Beautiful cars at the show this year but the people have spoken. By the overwhelming response the club agrees with the ballots. The 100's if not 1000's of hours that have gone into producing this piece of art must have been accompanied by some serious blood sweat and beers! Take a look at that engine compartment! You are looking at the kind of attention to detail the comes from either a genuine love for this car or a severe diagnosis of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
Great work on the car Chris. Hope to see you back next year.

Best Modified Truck - Dave Hunter's 1936 Ford Pickup
The theme this year for modified trucks was "Subtle Nuances". Dave's truck is the epitome (big word... Google it) of subtle nuances. This is one of those trucks that you can stare at for hours and continuously find subtle modifications that blend in and also enhance the natural beauty of this truck. Dave... Thank you for blessing our show with such a beautiful piece of machinery.
Best Original Truck - Roger & Linda Dunlop's 1968 Chevrolet C10 Stepside
Unfortunately Roger and Linda had to leave before we counted the ballots. Here is a picture that I'm 99% sure is their truck. If it isn't... I can't wait to see their truck. Roger or Linda... if you are reading this. We have a trophy waiting for you and need more information.
