At the last meeting, we discussed 911 Tribute T-shirts for this years car show that falls on Sept. 11th 2016. I have included some examples above. Please share your thoughts and let me know if you have any other additional ideas.

Cheers,
KV

I am down with the simple black ribbon. It will show up well on the blue shirts too. Just my opinion.

I like the black ribbon as well.
It would look good on the back of a hat, maybe on the sleeve of the tee.
Clean and simple.

I am in agreement with Heath and Laurie to use the ribbon,

Will look great on either hat or t-sheet.

Simple and classy!

I think we should get the ribbons and use them on the antenna's . I would rather leave the shirts out of it.

Maybe an antenna flag?

I concur with selecting the black ribbon. Tying them (as ribbons or flags) onto car antenna's or mirrors (I don't have an external antenna) would be the simplest and clearly connect our event to that event, on the actual day. Once the show date has past the connection between the show date and the same date in 2001 would be lost if it remained on the apparel. My 2 cents, I'm okay either way.

Hey Ken, good point.
In order for the date to be of significance on our swag we would need to add the show date to our logo this year (which I would be in favour of). Doing so would probably increase our swag sales as it would have more appeal due to it's 9/11 significance.
I would also run both hats and shirts as not everyone would wear hats (myself included). Thoughts?

I also like the antenna ribbon idea. Maybe we could pair the black with an orange to make it visually pop?
