Dave is the newest member of the Club, here are the details on his awesome pony car!
1994 Mustang GT 5.0
The vehicle was built in Michigan on June 24, 1994 and originally sold at Leslie Motors, Harriston, on August 24, 1994 to a family in Port Elgin. He purchased it from Grey Motors, in Owen Sound with very, very low Km's on the vehicle. That was over 20 years ago. He is the second owner. Vehicle has all original body panels, paint, interior, trim, glass and even exhaust system.
The vehicle, obviously is a 5.0, 5 speed vehicle. Colour is Rio Red with Dove Grey interior. 1st year for anti-lock brakes. Vehicle also has air conditioning. The subtle addition of chrome Cobra Wheels really makes the Rio Red paint POP!
Upgrades include:
Edelbrock cam and intake
24 LB fuel injectors
75 MM Throttle Body & Mass Air Sensor
MSD ignition parts
BBK Cold Air unit
And a host of other Ford Racing components.
The vehicle was then chipped and dyno tuned by Marken Performance in Kitchener.
Future upgrades (happening now in his garage) include:
Lowering springs
Upgraded shocks, Struts, Brakes.
3.73 Ford Racing ring & pinion set is also scheduled to be installed to replace the anemic 2.73 stock rear end.
Not a Boss 429 , but a reliable car that's fun to drive.
