Building a Trailer for the "Burb"

Pete has been working on this project for 3 years and it is starting to show progress. Stay tuned for more information and pictures.  I lost some of them when my Galaxy 7 blew up! Below you will find progress on the flip up lid/sleeping quarters.

Look at all of that shiny aluminum! I'm sure it will be polished until you can pop a zit in the reflection.

Something this beautiful is never complete without authentic hardwood floors.

Pete has pointed his pelvis away from the camera to hide his excitement for this project.

That's correct folks! This bad boy will contain everything including the kitchen sink!

The Canopy is starting to take shape. Notice the folding hitch for ease of use and storage.

If you look closely, you can see Pete's 63 C10 Step Side project frowning in the background feeling like the redheaded step child...

The trailer is back and the canopy is complete. This is day 27 of Pete's documentary "I now live in a 1963 trailer" catch it on Netflix.

You cannot accept the "gravity" of this situation until you sit in the gravity chair. Pete is camped out inside with his Coleman cooler reading the latest copy of "Good Trailers and Housekeeping" magazine.

Pete intends to keep this trailer " a rocking" with high intensity titanium legs that have been tested to hold up to the weight of 4 midgets and a very amorous burro.  Fun Fact - The Batteries are designed to create a force field that prevents governments from reading his thoughts (911 - Inside Job?)

There she is folks, ready to go out on her maiden voyage.... or should we say "Good old Detroit Iron... Maiden Voyage"?
