1967 BelvedereThis car was spotted in Canso Nova Scotia. Ron and another club member Kevin Maclean went on a hell bent tour to pick it up taking turns driving straight through.

Engine is a mid 70s 440 pick up truck engine with a 4 speed manual. Estimate (what we were aiming for when it was built) is around 500hp.
The car was stripped and painted with an epoxy primer. Replaced the driver floor pan and fix some body collision damage collected over the years. Installed torque boxes and tied the frame , added fender braces and a rad saddle brace. |
1966 Rambler Convertible
Ron picked up this 66 Rambler about 6 years ago at the CCP auction in Toronto. Ron and his father (Elwin May) won the bidding on this car but failed to meet the reserve price. The car was offered for sale again in the following spring. When the bidding began the reserve was dropped and they won the bid, which was less than the following falls losing bid!
The car comes with an AMC 360 with a nice Edelbrock intake with the AMC part #. Ron rebuilt the transmission and added a "Cheeta shifter" making it a tight shifting fun car to drive.
Apparently Ron only uses this car for formal occasions... Can you blame him?
